Gesture, Emotion, Presence

I’m an artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. I make figurative work in oil, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, and mixed media.

I’m drawn to the parts of ourselves that resist being neatly explained. A figure can hold confidence and uncertainty, strength and vulnerability, all at once. That complexity is what keeps me returning to the human form..

I work intuitively, allowing the image to evolve through layers of marks, revisions, and discoveries. Some passages remain loose and unresolved, while others come into focus. I enjoy that push and pull. It feels closer to life itself—messy, surprising, unfinished.
